Established in 2002Bacchus Wine & Spirits was established in April of 2002 by our owner, Diane, and was only 20 feet wide. Right away she found that twenty feet was nowhere near enough to carry the selection she wanted and in less than two years expanded another twenty feet to form the store you see today. In late 2004 Diane hired her son, Steve, to manage temporarily but couldn’t get rid of him when he fell in love with wine and ended up selling him half of the store in late 2006. He now works here full time and is always on the look out for new and interesting wines to keep the selection relevant and ever changing. In 2007, Steve decided to further his wine studies by beginning the arduous process of becoming a Certified Sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild. He graduated in 2009 but continues to seek out opportunities to learn about wine wherever he can.
